Custom Quilting!

I finished the quilting on this queen-sized quilt last friday.

The customer wanted swirls to match the pattern on the orange fabric.

She used assorted fabrics from the Frolic collection and pieced it in strips.

It measures 89x93 and has a poly-cotton batting.  I didn't do the binding, she wants to do that herself.  What a cute quilt!

Frolic Fun!

I put this quilt together on tuesday and then quilted and bound it yesterday.

The fabric is called "Frolic" by Sandy Gervais.  I used one charm pack and then four different fabrics from the collection for the borders, back and binding.

I think the colors make this a nice quilt for a baby boy.

I quilted it in the "mouse maze" pattern which went really fast.

The final measurements are 36x40.  This is another quilt that I will be trying to sell at the July Jamboree this weekend in Cedar City.

Squirrelly Zig Zag

The pink and brown in this quilt really catch my eye.  I love how it turned out.  I used fabrics that I purchased online from Fabricworm.  The prints I chose were from Denise Schmidt's, Hope Valley, Tanya Whelan's, Dolce, Wendy Slotboom's, Frolic, and Lecian's brown polka dot.

I used a pink broadcloth for the back and binding.  I would have bound it with something else but I had plenty of this so I used it.

The quilting pattern is one that I found in a book that Jim gave me for Christmas.  It is called Mouse Maze.  I hate mice, but I do love the little squirrels in the Frolic fabric.
