September BOM

 This is September's block for the free BOM group that I am participating in this year. 

As you can see, one of my squares is slightly off.  I haven't decided if I want to unpick it and fix it or just let it go.

I have October'a block made also but haven't taken a picture of it yet.

Giddy Tumbler

I decided to make a tumbler quilt with the Giddy layer cake that I purchased last spring.

I added 3 borders to make it a little larger (full size).  The large border will be scalloped.  The scallops are drawn on but I will not cut them until the quilt is quilted. 

Cameos!

 I finished the Cameo quilt top yesterday.

 Between trips to Salt Lake and Relief Society business  I wasn't able to work on it much these last two weeks.

 I love the colors in the Mill House Inn collection.

 I added a 7 inch floral border to make it fit a queen size bed.

I probably won't quilt this one for a little while.  I want to enter it in the county fair next summer so I need to practice the perfect quilting pattern on some other quilts before I do this one.
