Sweet Baby Blanket

This little afghan is for a friend of Miranda's who is having her first baby in September.

The pattern is Bernat Baby #410.  I printed it for free from the Bernat web site.

I used Bernat Baby Pound of Love yarn.

It measures about 36 X 38.  It was very easy to make and is a pattern that a beginner could easily handle.

Another Tumbler!

I found a sale on Charm Packs here so I purchased a few to make some of these quick quilts.

The fabric is called Bartholow Meow's Reef.  It is full of fun nautical features.

It was pretty windy outside so we moved into the house to get some pictures.  The quilt top ended up measuring 41 x 45.

Dwell

Banner gave me this book for Christmas.  It is full of delightful quilt patterns.  This one is called Dwell because of the cute little houses.

The other day I was going through my fabric stash and I came across some Riley Blake fat quarters from the Fly a Kite collection.  My oldest daughter Whitney had given them to me last summer for my birthday.

I thought the Dwell pattern and the Fly a Kite fabric was a good combination.

So, here is the final result, a quilt top that measures  51 x 66.  I can't wait to quilt it and see how it turns out.

Houndstooth!

Houndstooth seems to be all the rage right now.  Luckily I purchased this pattern a couple of years ago from  V. and Co. ( The link is at the bottom of this post)

Since my long arm is not set up at this time, I thought I would piece some of the quilt tops that have been on my to do list so they will be ready when I get it up and running again.

This little quilt has been one that I have been wanting to do.  The fabric I used is Silver Lining from Connecting Threads and Bella Moda White.

My quilt top ended up measuring 45 x 45. I really love this pattern,  Thanks Vanessa.

Tumbling Blocks

I've had this pattern and fabric to do this quilt top for quite some time.  I finally finished it this morning.

The pattern is called "Tumbling Blocks" by Kimberly Jolly of ItsSewEmma.com.

I used just a partial layer cake of Lily and Will fabric by Bunny Hill Designs.
I can't wait to get this quilted and see how cute it turns out.  The quilt top measures 46 1/2 by 54 1/2.

Boy Stash

I made this quilt top quite a while ago with left over charm squares from this quilt.

I love these colors for a little boy.  My gift stash is running a little low right now for boys so I decided I had better finish up this quilt.

The fabric is from the"Make Life" collection.

The paisleys are my favorites, I chose the blue for the back and the white for the outside border.
The binding is the red print with little white stars.

I really do love this quilt.  I can't wait to give it away.

Pinwheels Galore!

I bought this quilt kit from Connecting Threads about 3 years ago.

I intended to give it to Miranda so she could piece it herself.

When we discovered that the pinwheels were Prairie Points we both decided it might be a little advanced for her.  I brought it home and put it away but promised her that it would be hers for her first little boy.

Baby boy is on his way and so the quilt is finished and ready go to Cedar City.

The back is a blue and cream circle print from the Moda Giddy collection that I happened to have a large piece of.  The batting is 80/20 cotton poly and the quilt measures 45 x 45.

Sprocket Pillows

I made these pillows for Liz for Christmas.  I followed this tutorial.

I used 7 different fabrics from the "Sunkissed" collection.  The pillows measure 16 and 14 inches.
I will definitely make more of these in the future.
