Giddy!

One of my next projects involves a layer cake and some yardage of Sandy Gervais' Giddy collection.
I am planning on making a full size quilt for the bed in our extra bedroom.  I'm thinking pinwheels but might change my mind.  I've been known to do that.  This collection came out several months ago but I am just getting around to making something with it.

Quilt #3

And now, quilt #3.  I used the rest of the cotton shirts and made off-set square blocks.  I sashed the blocks with a  Moda Crazy Eight plaid by Sandy Gervais.  The backing is more Wee Play by American Jane, this time in blue.  I used the left over red from the back of quilt #1 to bind this one.  I quilted it all over in a stipple pattern.  Can I say how much I love this quilt.

Frolic Fun!

I put this quilt together on tuesday and then quilted and bound it yesterday.

The fabric is called "Frolic" by Sandy Gervais.  I used one charm pack and then four different fabrics from the collection for the borders, back and binding.

I think the colors make this a nice quilt for a baby boy.

I quilted it in the "mouse maze" pattern which went really fast.

The final measurements are 36x40.  This is another quilt that I will be trying to sell at the July Jamboree this weekend in Cedar City.
